Anthropic said Claude optimized inference for more than 30 open-source biomolecular models, making them about 4x faster on average, partly by writing custom GPU software. The company is open-sourcing the code and partnering with Adaptyv Bio on a protein-design competition that will experimentally validate over 5,000 designs, with up to $1 million in Claude credits.
